Virginia, Luray Caverns

So many people walk around everyday not even thinking they could be stepping on. It's amazing what could be right under your feet! I know in reality there's probably not a cavern under your house but its nice to imagine.

Nearby the cavern is the Luray Singing Tower, the small park around it is be a perfect place to relax and draw.

Waiting outside for the cavern won't be much of a wait if you enjoy looking at the scenery. Plus there was this amazing Native American singer who really makes waiting a pleasure.

Going into the cavern is just amazing! The entrance to it is inside a building, so from being in a modern furnished room to this just takes your breath away.

You aren't really supposed to touch the formations but at the end of the tour there is a "wishing well" where you can throw a penny to make a wish.

I know the water isn't naturally that colour but its beautiful anyway, it like pulls you in....

There's a tour guide with you the whole time moving you along but you can fall behind and stay a while to take some pictures. They're super friendly and do give you some time but I'm a slow person...

There is a trail with rail's already made so basically anyone can get through it with no problem. Normally climbing/hiking is the fun part of being in a cavern but the view totally makes up for it. Then again I've never been to one where you have to climb through..it seems really fun though!

The picture are really out of order... sorry bout that. At the very end the last formation you see is the "Sunny-Side Up" formation. I'll post just a bunch of pictures of the cavern after this.
